Please note that while our benefit programs are subject to change at any time in response to the needs of the employees and the company, the following are the current benefits we offer: Health Coverage Employees are afforded a top-of-the-line health-care and dental plan at a cost of $30 per month. Through Meadowbrook Press’s flexible benefits plan, employees can provide coverage for their family members at below-market rates. Retirement Saving Plan Meadowbrook Press offers a 401(k) plan that allows employees to invest up to 20 percent of their salary on a tax-deferred basis. The company match is 25 percent of the first 6 percent of compensation invested. Enrollment in this plan requires 1,000 hours of service and 12 months of continuous employment. Holidays and Vacations Full-time employees are afforded time off for leisure, recreation, and relaxation. The company offers 10 paid holidays per calendar year. The vacation plan provides 5 days of vacation for 6 months of service, 10 days for 1-4 years of service, and 15 days for 5 years of service. Thereafter, paid time off increases 1 day each year to a maximum of 20 days after 10 years of employment. Education Assistance Our company supports education and career development with training programs and tuition reimbursement. Maternity/Paternity Leave After one year of service, the company offers maternity/paternity leave for up to 3 months at the rate of one-half the employee's salary. Casual Dress and Flexible Work Schedules Our company is team-oriented in a casual atmosphere because we know this is key to making employees succeed at their highest level. We offer employees a summer work schedule so they may have Friday afternoons off.
